Baking
We just love cooking, baking and eating at The Ark and this month we really excelled ourselves. The best part of all this baking was the children loved eating their creations al-fresco.
Fine Motor
Fine motor skills are something we develop throughout every day and we rely on these skills for a range of tasks in nursery. The nursery team provide a variety of activities aimed at enhancing these skills. Preparing children for early writing and promoting independence.
Outdoor
The list of benefits for outdoor play are endless, enhancing gross motor skills, taking risks, setting challenges, problem solving, building confidence and resilience, all while getting the added benefit of fresh air.
Gardens
Our leader Jill has spent a lot of time with the children recently replanting our sensory garden and vegetable patch. The children really enjoy getting involved in these activities and love to water the plants and watch them grow.
